Let’s be real, life wasn’t made to be lived alone. We need one another.
We’re created from community (the Triune God) for community (life together), which is why Community Groups are vital to the life of our church.
Whether you’ve been following Jesus for your whole life or you’ve never even heard of Him, you are welcome at our Community Groups (CG’s).
We believe that Jesus is for everyone and that Jesus changes everything. This is why our CG’s aim to remind each other how our relationships with God, relationships with one another, and relationships with our neighbors are formed in Christ.
Some practical ways we do this is by: discussing God’s Word together, eating meals together, hearing each other’s stories, serving one another, serving together, confessing sin to one another, rejoicing and weeping together, encouraging one another, and praying together.

What to expect
What To Expect
Come As You Are
We want you to come as you are–whether you’re a mess, or if you think you have life figured out– God meets us where we are, and doesn’t leave us there. We desire to do the same for each other. Whether you are a skeptic, interested in spirituality, a Christian, or none of the above, you are welcome at Renaissance. Wear jeans, a three-piece suit, or what you wore yesterday. Come as you are.
When You Get Here
On Sunday mornings, here is what you can expect:
- We Pray & Read
Our prayers and scripture readings follow the basic storyline of the gospel. God’s goodness, our sinfulness, God’s mercy in Christ, and our response. - We Listen
Each week the preacher will open God’s Word and his main point will be the main point of the passage. - We Sing
Using music from both modern and forgotten days, we sing the story of the Scriptures so that the Gospel will dwell in us richly. - We See
Two sacred ordinances show us the Word: The Lord’s Supper and believer’s baptism by immersion. - We Are Sent
The Word that we pray, sing, listen to, and see is the same Word that sends us out into the world to make more disciples.
Renaissance Kids
Kids ages 3 months to 11 years old will have the option to participate in RKids where they’ll learn about God’s Word together in an age appropriate setting that will help them conform to the image of Christ.
