Membership
Membership is a meaningful two-way commitment. On your part, it is a commitment to our church. On Renaissance’s part, it is a commitment to see Christ formed in you.
Membership Class
The first step to becoming a member at a Renaissance Church (or simply learning more about what we believe) is to attend one of our regular membership classes. Our next membership classes on Saturday, September 28. More info and sign-up, click here.
Membership Interview
Following your membership class, you’ll be invited to meet with a Renaissance Elder/Leader for a membership interview. Don’t worry—this is simply a time for us to get to know your story more personally and answer any questions you may have about our membership covenant.
To schedule your membership interview after attending a membership class, please fill out this form and we will contact you to schedule a time: Member Application

What is Baptism?
Baptism is a symbol of a restored relationship with God through faith in Jesus.
Who Should be Baptized?
If someone has made a genuine profession of faith, then he or she ought to be baptized by immersion (Matthew 28:18-19). We encourage you to follow Christ’s command to be baptized as a public profession of your faith in him.
How Do I Take This Step?
Baptism Sundays happen every so often at Renaissance during the service. Several weeks before, we have a Baptism Class where those interested have the opportunity to meet with a pastor who will walk with you as you consider baptism. This class does not obligate you, but allows you to explore and learn the meaning of this sacred symbol.
To attend our next baptism class or to ask questions email one of our elders at [email protected]

Come as You Are
We want you to come as you are–whether you’re a mess, or if you think you have life figured out– God meets us where we are, and doesn’t leave us there. We desire to do the same for each other. Whether you are a skeptic, interested in spirituality, a Christian, or none of the above, you are welcome at Renaissance. Wear jeans, a three-piece suit, or what you wore yesterday. Come as you are.
When You Get Here
On Sunday mornings, here is what you can expect:
We Pray & Read
Our prayers and scripture readings follow the basic storyline of the gospel. God’s goodness, our sinfulness, God’s mercy in Christ, and our response.
We Listen
Each week the preacher will open God’s Word and his main point will be the main point of the passage.
We Sing
Using music from both modern and forgotten days, we sing the story of the Scriptures so that the Gospel will dwell in us richly.
We See
Two sacred ordinances show us the Word: The Lord’s Supper and believer’s baptism by immersion.
We are Sent
The Word that we pray, sing, listen to, and see is the same Word that sends us out into the world to make more disciples.
Renaissance Kids
Worshipping as a family is an option, or Renaissance Kids also happens the during our Sunday gatherings. Our trained teams of teachers and assistants present age-appropriate lessons, centered on Jesus, and activities that go along with our mission.
